Subway Adds 4 New Choices to its Revamped Wrap Menu

With this launch, the sandwich chain is introducing its first new bread selection in three years. Here’s a roundup of Subway’s previous rolled sandwich offerings.

Recently, Subway revealed that its new line of wraps will be available in all of its restaurants starting on April 11. According to the sandwich chain, the four new wraps will be served on lavash-style bread, Subway’s first new bread option in three years.

According to Subway, the focaccia has a “soft and bubbly” texture and is inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine. It contains more ingredients than a flour tortilla, meaning the 6-inch-long wraps provide the same amount of protein as Subway’s Footlongs, according to the company.

Each new package contains:

  • Homemade Chicken Salad: This wrap is a freshly prepared chicken salad with grilled chicken and mayonnaise and topped with lettuce, spinach, tomato, cucumber and red onion.
  • Honey Mustard Chicken: Stuffed with fried chicken and lettuce, tomato, red onion and Monterey cheddar cheese, dressed with a drizzle of sweet mustard sauce.
  • Turkey, bacon and avocado: Oven-roasted turkey, crispy bacon, and mashed avocado are the stars here. The wrap also includes lettuce, tomato, red onion, Monterey cheddar cheese, and hot pepper ranch dressing.
  • Cali Caprese: This version of Caprese salad is made with avocado and BelGioioso mozzarella. This wrap is stuffed with MVP Parmesan dressing, roasted garlic aioli, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and lettuce.

“Wraps have become an afterthought on restaurant menus, with boring options and snack portions that leave you wanting more,” Paul Fabre, Subway’s vice president of culinary and innovation, said in a statement. press. “The process of revamping Subway’s packaging began with this concept.

We’ve spent over a year developing unique recipes with unique ingredients that bring out the best in our new Lavash-style flatbread, energizing you without draining you.

Those who want to try Subway’s new bread with other toppings can add it to any sandwich, while customers can choose chicken salad as a protein in other dishes.

Subway has been on a journey to change its menu since 2021 when it announced a revamp with nearly a dozen new or improved ingredients and 10 new or redesigned sandwiches. Then, in 2022, 12 new signature sandwiches appeared; and in 2023, the company announced that it would cut meat on-site instead of using pre-cut meat.

In January, Subway introduced Sidekicks, a collection of three 12-inch snacks including a chocolate chip cookie, cinnamon roll, and Aunt Anna’s pretzel. Then in March, Subway announced it would switch from Coca-Cola products to PepsiCo products in its U.S. restaurants starting Jan. 1, 2025.
