The Federal High Court in Lagos has sentenced controversial cross-dresser and social media celebrity Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to six months in prison.
Judge Abimbola Awogboro imposed a sentence of six months in prison, without the possibility of a fine.
Since his arrest last week, the controversial star has been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He was arrested by the EFCC for misuse of local currency.
Bobrisky had previously pleaded guilty on April 5 to four counts of assaulting Naira brought against him by the anti-graft agency.

She is also well known for her involvement on the social media platforms Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram. He went viral on TikTok for creating the “beaver dance” in 2021.
