The owner of Chelsea explains why supporters are irate
Chelsea manager Todd Boehly shared his thoughts on why the club’s fans are frustrated with the Blues.
According to Boehly, Blues fans seem to expect too much from management, adding that these high expectations lead to frustration.
The American spoke to Forbes when asked about the Chelsea project.
“The good news presently is that people care a lot for the club. And the bad news is that people care a lot!” He said.
“This leads to times when they are frustrated with the team and the owners…” I get it, but we simply need to carry on with the lesson.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has urged his players to support him “unconditionally” after seeing the Premier League club hit with 115 FFP charges.

Arteta provides updates on Saka and Martinelli’s injuries ahead of Arsenal-Luton
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expects Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli to be fit for the visit of Luton Town on Wednesday night.
Saka limped off in Sunday’s 0-0 draw against Manchester City and was replaced by Martinelli, who has just recovered from a foot injury.
Speaking to reporters today, Arteta said both players should be available for selection.
The Spaniard said of Saka: “He’s fine. We haven’t trained, we’ve recovered and there will be a short, light session to prepare for the match.”
We’ll see if he’s in the best condition to start or not.”
When asked about Martinelli, he replied: “He is [available for 90 minutes] because he was available to play against a very difficult opponent and he certainly is today.
“Today we will train, and examine the physical fitness of each player and tomorrow we will make the right decision.”
