During Arsenal’s match against Manchester City on Sunday, Manchester United legend Gary Neville expressed his disappointment at David Raya’s performance in goal for the Gunners.
Despite a crucial save to deny Nathan Ake, Raya had a poor kicking game, often missing the target and even falling while kicking the ball.
As a result, he was ridiculed by local fans. Neville criticized Raya’s performance, particularly her poor kicking, during Sky Sports’ coverage of the match.
The former defender also stated that the first half of the match was “strange” as neither team managed to score despite chances from both sides.

“Raya’s kicks were terrible,” Marcel said.
Gary Neville’s comments come amid increasing scrutiny over Arsenal’s goalkeeping position, with the club reportedly searching for a new goalkeeper during the summer transfer window.
Raya, who joined Arsenal from Brentford last year, has had inconsistent performances this season, prompting calls for a replacement.
