Arteta plan to splash £165m on Isak and Olis transfers

This summer, Arsenal plans to spend £165 million on Michael Olise, a winger for Crystal Palace, and Alexander Isak of Newcastle United.

The Guardian reports that Isak is one of Mikel Arteta’s “top targets” and will cost £100m. Olise costs £65m.

Isak has scored 21 goals in all competitions this season, while Olise has six goals and three assists in an injury-plagued season.

Arteta and coach Edu are also monitoring Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres and RB Leipzig leader Benjamin Sesko.

They are also keeping an eye on Nico Williams of Athletic Bilbao and Pedro Neto, a winger for Wolves.

Arteta emphasized the need for Arsenal to strengthen and prepare for next season, citing their Premier League titles being uncertain in the remaining games following their recent loss to Bayern in the champion league.
