War on Gaza Addressing Civilian Damage and Suffering US Creates Conditions to Support Israel

US President Joe Biden has set the conditions for supporting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the ongoing war in Gaza.

Biden said US support for Netanyahu depends on Israel taking steps to address civilian casualties and the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

This was stated by the American president during a telephone conversation with Netanyahu, made public by the White House.

According to official White House documents, the two leaders discussed the situation in Gaza, while Biden “underscored that attacks on humanitarian workers and the humanitarian situation in general are unacceptable.”

Biden also reportedly made clear that Israel must “announce and adopt a series of specific, concrete and measurable measures to address civilian casualties, humanitarian suffering and the safety of humanitarian workers.”

According to the letter, Biden emphasized that an immediate ceasefire was necessary and that US policy toward Gaza “will be determined by our assessment of Israel’s immediate action on these measures” with his Israeli colleague. “is imperative to keep providing humanitarian aid,” “stabilize and improve the situation, and safeguard the territory at all cost,” “the citizens.”
